Things people ask first.
What counts as a 'video'?
A video = one render of one project — typically a long-form upload that produces shorts + chapters + a condensed cut. So uploading a 90-minute podcast once and getting back ~12 shorts + 4 chapters + a condensed long-form = 1 video. Re-rendering the same project with new trims doesn't count again.
Is there a free trial on paid tiers?
Yes — 7 days on Starter, Pro, and Business. You're not charged until day 8, and you can cancel any time before then with no charge. Stripe handles the trial timer automatically.
Can I cancel?
Anytime, from Account → Billing. You keep access through the end of the current billing period. Subscription fees aren't pro-rated or refunded.
How does direct publish to TikTok / Instagram / YouTube work?
Connect your accounts once via OAuth. From the editor, pick a clip → Publish → choose platforms → Sliver pushes the right aspect ratio + caption to each. Currently rolling out — see /integrations for status.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes — paid as 10× monthly (≈17% off, equivalent to 2 months free). Switch monthly ↔ annual any time from your account.
What about agencies / multi-creator workflows?
Business tier includes up to 5 seats + API access. For larger teams or white-label needs, email hello@sliver.video.
Is the AI in my plan the same model as the higher tiers?
Yes — every plan uses the same Whisper + Claude pipeline. Higher tiers don't get a 'better' AI; they get more capacity, longer source caps, speaker tracking, and unlocks for things like brand kit and direct publish.
What happens to my content if I cancel?
Your rendered clips stay on Sliver for 30 days after cancellation so you can download them. Source uploads are deleted at cancellation. Business customers can request immediate purge of everything.
