Editor keyboard shortcuts
The full keyboard reference. Same shortcuts as Premiere / Final Cut / DaVinci where possible, so muscle memory transfers.

- Step 01
Playback
Space — play/pause. ← / → — step 1 frame. Shift+← / Shift+→ — jump 5 seconds. Home / End — jump to clip start or clip end.
- Step 02
Trim
I — set in-point at the current playhead position. O — set out-point. ↑ / ↓ — pick the previous or next clip in the list.
- Step 03
Timeline zoom
+ — zoom in (more detail per second). − — zoom out. The zoom anchors on the playhead, so the moment you’re inspecting stays under the cursor.
- Step 04
Split + delete
B — split the selected clip at the playhead into two clips. Delete (or Backspace) — remove the selected clip from the timeline.
- Step 05
Help
? — open the shortcuts help overlay (shows this list in-app at any time).

The overlay is searchable — type to filter. Press Escape to close.
Good to know
Inputs and textareas don’t hijack
If your cursor is inside a text field (the AI refine prompt, the clip title editor, etc.), shortcuts don’t fire. Click away from the field first.
